The Queen’s Debating Union relies on support from our alumni, our University and members of the community to be able to offer our members the opportunity to compete at national and international tournaments, to host events for the Queen’s and Kingston communities, and to allow students who would not otherwise be able to participate in debating access to financial aid. Sponsoring Canada’s oldest university debating society is a fantastic chance to help foster the growth of productive and informed dialogue and discussion, and to give motivated young people the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills and become informed about our world.
